Ladies and Gentlemen Its Officially Miller Time

In the world of scouting and player evaluations the best of the best are able to identify the premier players before anyone else.  One of the DMVs top products and prospects is quietly flying under the radar and it will not be much longer before he explodes onto the national scene on everyone’s board as one of the top players in country.

Jalen Miller stepped onto the country’s biggest stage and showed that he belonged competing this Friday in the Middle School All-American Game; he then followed that up with an impressive two days at the Basketball Spotlight Future Phenom Camp.  So disciplined to play the game the right way; you cannot truly appreciate Miller’s vast skillset in your typical camp setting – but for those with a trained eye they already know there is no denying this kid is and will be a certified problem to deal with.

Miller who stars for the Maryland Playmakers is a talented lead guard, who can move to the 2-Guard position and plays with an instinctive understanding of how to set up and make his teammates better but also how to put the ball in the basket.  If Miller had a selfish bone in his body he could give you 20-point every time out, but truly the way he plays the game and his mental and playing style translates very well to the next level. He's smooth and athletic and is beginning to gain some great length and size.  Already possessing a solid handle and quick first step; he shows no wasted motion on his jump shot and moves on moves.  He see the floor very well, pitches the ball ahead, and can make the reads at his age that some on the HS level are still struggling to understand.

A player who is just as dedicated on the defensive end and even in a wide open setting; you can see him positioning himself in the right place and doing the right thing.  A high IQ performer who is the ultimate competitor and teammate; mark it down now that when it’s all said and done Jalen Miller’s cream will rise to top – not just in the DMV but in the nation.
