BMore's Finest 2021's Winning Nationally

A storm is a brewing in the DC Metropolitan Area in the class of 2021 and is quietly sweeping the country.  BMore’s Finest AAU - which finished Top 20 in the nation and is currently ranked #19 in the AAU National Power Rankings - has been plowing through the competition throughout the country in recent weeks.

Having already captured the Agame Tournament Championship, Finest defeated national power All Ohio Red 53-44 in the All Ohio Red Nike Cup; using a trapping pressure defense to overcome a 3-point halftime deficit.

This team’s strength lies in its versatility; with players who are able to play multiple positions they are able to mix and match line-ups and go to the bench without losing anything. Their depth is among the nation’s best. BMore’s Finest has a line-up that include some of the DMV’s top talent in Ahmad Harrison (DMVelite #4), Rayuan Lane (DMVelite #5), Julian Reese (DMVelite #20), and class of 2022 members Chris Winborne (DMVelite #3) and Bryce Lindsay (DMVelite #8), and motor past the competition on a regular basis.

Last year, this squad was poised to make a run to the Sweet 16 but suffered injuries to two of their starters.  During the off season they added depth by bringing over Reese and Lane from local rival and nationally-ranked Baltimore Stars (national rank #13 -now Baltimore Elite) serving two purposes – strengthening their current roster and dealing a tough blow to their primary Maryland State nemesis. Their recent showing against other national powers at this early juncture bodes well for the future and a potential national championship run this summer.  Their first step on this mission takes place April 25th – April 27th in the Maryland State Regional Qualifier.
